HARE IN THE MOON SYMBOLISM
....giving you a powerful tool to navigate the seas of life
For millenia, many cultures and mythologies have seen a "Hare in the Moon" when they moon-gaze. Ancient Chinese Taoists identified the Hare as the "Rice Grinder " using a pestle and mortar to provide the elixir of life. If you stare closely at the moon, you can see the Hare's ears quite clearly.
Rabbits/Hares run rampant as symbols of life, fertility and healing. Imagine Easter (Oestre in the Pagan calendar) without the little bunny rabbits and the eggs. The Mayan Moon Goddess holds a Hare in her arms and the Mexican/Caribbean countries see a Hare in the Moon looking northwards.
I chose the name "Hare in the Moon Astrology" for my website because in the Chinese astrological system, I am a Metal Hare. Anyone born in these years is described as sensitive, intuitive, prone to moodiness and to staying in their burrows, reflective and good with people, but better one to one.
