THE CHAOS NODES .....THE PERFECT STORM
Even those completely unaware of astrology are wondering what on earth is going on. It's definitely not business as usual. That's because we're in a Chaos Node, a point in time where there are an infinite number of variables and everything is over formed. A Chaos Node can be defined as “a convergence point where parallel realities are in a constant state of flux, merging then splitting off". Such a nodal point in time is enough to move an entire planet and its population on to an entirely different track.
9 months of 2011 and the whole of 2012 will be spent in Chaos Nodes. During any time of mergers or splits (right now) things move in or out of our lives and experience very, very quickly.
All last summer of 2010 we experienced the Cardinal Cross where the roller coaster ride began. Then there was a planetary lull when the cracks in our lives were papered over. Think back to your own experience last May /June /July /August - what did you lose? what changed? what was out of your control? what have you ignored and hoped would go away?
Now the real thing is upon us:
- The Cardinal Cross is back
- The 4 year Pluto Uranus square has kicked in
- The Jupiter Pluto trine is operative
- 4 outer planets (Chiron/Neptune/Uranus/Pluto) plus Mercury are retrograde. Jupiter will join them on 30th August
- Mercury will oppose Neptune/Chiron again in early September

THE CARDINAL CROSS
An out of bounds Mars in Cancer is currently completing the 4th arm of the Cardinal Cross. Then on 17th August Mars triggers the degree of July 1st Solar eclipse and on 27th August, squares Saturn. Since all 4 arms of the Cross have an outer planet at the end, the 4 angles of the World Chart are all being radically challenged to change simultaneously. It is doubtful if humanity has ever been in this situation before. Outer planets are the slowest planetary movers (Pluto takes 248 years to move round all the signs) so the chances of all 4 being on the Cardinal axis at the same time are very, very small. Cardinal signs are driven by the need to eradicate the old and to move into a brave new world.
Pluto in Capricorn is razing old institutions (governments, economies, beliefs) to the ground with the deadly relentlessness of a nuclear fuelled bulldozer.
Uranus in Aries is igniting acute discomfort with the status quo leading to radical new ideas for progressive change. Revolution is one of Uranus' bywords.
Saturn in Libra creates the need and desire for new ways of relating (individually and collectively). Nothing will happen unless we listen. Saturn is a master of roadblocks.
Mars in Cancer delivers the motivation, energy and drive for overturning previous limits and boundaries.
THE PLUTO URANUS SQUARE 2011-15
Just as Saturn moves slowly out of orb of the Grand Cross in the next few weeks, Pluto and Uranus are beginning a historic series of 7 exact squares between now and 2015!

The degrees affected are between 3-15 degrees Capricorn and Aries.

This is the most important and influential time any of us will ever live through.
So consider the events of the last year both personally and collectively e g: the tsunami, the Gulf oil disaster, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, volcanoes, collapse of global financial markets and the near demise of the Euro. ALL THE OUTER PLANETS RETROGRADE EXCEPT SATURN
Chiron, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto are all travelling backwards now, going over old ground. As is Mercury until 26th August Pluto turns direct on 17th September, Neptune on 10th November followed by Chiron on 11th and Uranus on 10th December. Even when they're moving forward, it will take months before they reach the degree they were at when they turned retrograde. Why does this matter? We're being forced to retrace our steps and revisit old issues in order to alert us to what needs changing. Before real change can occur, new behaviour is needed. It will only be when each of these outer planets reaches a brand new degree during 2012/13 that new ground will be broken. Hence the sense of frustration with our seeming inability to come up with adequate responses to old paradigms.

Symptoms:
- feeling off-centre
- stressed
- buzzing/exhausted
- irritable
- angry/frustrated

Tools:
- understand the big picture so that it provides meaning to the chaos
- slow right down
- pause before your react on automatic
- simplify as much as you can
- be in contact with nature, the sea, a garden as much as possible
- don't try to plan too far ahead-stay flexible
- know what you stand for and act upon it
- collaborate with like-minded others spiritually and sharing resources and ideas
- remember that everyone is doing the best they can at the time -including you
- seek protection from your spiritual guides
