The Week Ahead ~ 14th - 21st April 2008
Weekly Overview
This looks set to be a week of endings and beginnings. Easy enough
to write, but potentially quite difficult for several signs,
especially the Fixed Signs of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. The
most powerful energies arrive on the three days leading up to the Full
Moon at 0° 43' Scorpio on the 20th. This is, unusually, the first of
two Full Moons in Scorpio. So the themes of life and death, shedding
and starting afresh are very strong at the Full Moon. The Sun is
joined by Mercury, newly arrived in Taurus, so there will be some new
information to be taken into account. Since Mercury, then goes on to
trine that both Pluto, the Transformer, and Saturn, the Taskmaster,
the tone of the information download will be unequivocal: accept
what's just ended and move on. Luckily, the T'square between Jupiter,
Mars and Venus in Cardinal signs provides the opportunity to come up
with a new game plan.
One door closes, another one opens.

Money, money, money! Financial issues, can no longer be ignored.
Whatever is due to you is likely to arrive in the next few weeks, but
only after very long, hard struggle on your part. Any dealings with
authority figures (banks, solicitors), will reach a conclusion. You
may feel tempted to update your home or your appearance, only to find
that you have overestimated your windfall.
A bird in the hand .......

This could make or break time for one particular relationship. Too
many unresolved issues have been avoided for far too long. Taureans
sometimes put up with unsatisfactory situations because they hate
conflict of any sort. Happily this Full Moon, there will be the
opportunity to talk, discuss and negotiate, which in turn could lead
to remembering why you're together in the first place. Clear away the
misunderstandings, ready to make plans in three weeks when Saturn
turns direct in the fellow earth sign of Virgo.
A week for healing.

Make your number one priority to rest and take stock of your
everyday routines. You are under a great deal of unrelenting pressure
to deliver the goods, with little if any signs of a reward. Are you
shouldering too many responsibilities at home and at work? Could you
offload or delegate any of them? Your health and well-being need an
MOT and re-tune; you can't function on autopilot any longer.
Take time out for you.

Although most Cancerians hate losing friends or contacts by the
wayside, this tendency to hang on to outlived relationships can keep
you tied to the past. This week, it's time to look at who will really
is important to you and who you continue to see from habit or duty. On
the one hand, you are feeling much more motivated to make new plans
for the future, on the other, daily habits, long past their sell by
date are holding you back. This Scorpio Full Moon will illuminate what
or who needs to be gently let go.
Let go and move on.

There seems to be some sort of conflict between work and home. A
relationship, which once felt so strong is now a puzzling you, because
you have no idea where you stand. You have heavy responsibilities,
which you are finding harder and harder to fulfil, and this lack of
support feels like the last straw. Difficult as it is, it may be time
to let go of a cherished career goal and decide where you your true
priorities lie.

Maybe, just maybe, life is finally bring you what you always longed
for ..... adventure and security, all in one package! If you
can take a risk in one special relationship by speaking what's in your
heart, you will feel more understood, accepted and loved than ever
before. Any doubts you feel about your own value are Saturn's way of
preparing you for a whole new phase of existence. A phase that is
starting now and will take you through the next 28 years! So the
question to ask yourself is "In 28 years time, what will I wish I'd
done 28 years ago?" -- then do it!

your Sun. On top of all that, the Full Moon in Scorpio highlights some
fundamental issues for you about your security and self-esteem. These
are topics you usually try to avoid. There are opportunities now for
new approaches to work, to your home life, and in your own view of the
world. Roundup the people who are your biggest fans and supporters
and ask for their advice, then take it.

With two Full Moons in Scorpio (20 April and 20 May) your sign
seems to be on the receiving end of some important cosmic messages.
The theme concerns your most important relationship. How much of
yourself are you really committing to your partner? The time has come
to put up or shut up -- to commit or withdraw. Your partner is
needing more evidence of your joint future, both emotional and
material. You may find it in your heart to take a risk on love and
surprise yourself with the realisation of how much personal security
means to you.

All the hard work you've put in, could finally be about to bear
some fruit. This Full Moon emphasises how you go about your routine
tasks at work and symbolises an end to the enormous pressure you've
been under, with little or no reward. As Pluto moves backwards into
your sign over the next few months, you will finally pass go and
collect your winnings. So keep on keeping on a little longer. Your
Sagittarian trust, in fairness and goodness won't to be misplaced.
The lights turn to green ....

If you haven't already been going out and about, socialising and
meeting up with old friends, now's the time. Take the opportunity to
go through your address book and make contact with friends and
ex-colleagues. You will be surprised at how pleased they are to hear from
you. Not only that, but they could well be the source of unanticipated
opportunities. You've hidden away nursing your wounds for far too
long. Let go of grievances and come out into the sunlight.

Necessity is the mother of invention, or so they say. The
saying is especially relevant to you this week. The Full Moon in
Scorpio, plus three planets in Aquarius are showing you areas long
overdue for change. Once you've seen them, you won't be able to ignore
them. Start with your appearance; does it really represents who you
are now? how about your home -- is it time for some de-cluttering?
Once you start you'll be amazed at how much more energetic and
efficient you feel. When the first spring sunshine shows us the dusty
cobwebs and corners, the urge to spring clean is irresistible!
Be who you really are.

By now you'll be acclimatising to ongoing change in your pace of
life. Uranus is urging you to move out of your old comfort zone and
expand your horizons. This weeks Scorpio Full Moon, in a compatible
water sign gives you the green light to capitalise on your bright
ideas. Talk about them with your colleagues; test them out and
develop them. Find new ways of collaborating with other people. Any
ideas you come up with now could pay dividends later, when Saturn
turns direct. Your intuition is at an all-time high, so trust it and
